Boys and Girls Club

The Boys & Girls Club of the Iowa Tribe of KS & NE received its charter in 2015.  It currently has approximately 160 members from the surrounding areas with 64 members being regularly active.  The Club currently offers grant funded programming such as: Kidzlit, Smart Moves/Meth Smart, and Youth Mentoring.  The club’s programming hours during the school year are Mon-Fri 4PM-6PM. Summer and weekend times vary.  The Club offers its gym to rent for birthday parties and social celebrations free of charge to its members, staff, and board members. Business operations are led by the CEO and governed by a 5 member board (Executive Committee). You can find the Boys & Girls Club on Facebook, where they regularly post updates.

The Club strives to help all kids reach their full potential and offer a safe and fun community space where they can learn, grow, and foster healthy relationships. The Club currently offers grant-funded programming such as: Project Learn, Smart Moves, youth mentoring, and a variety of cultural events and materials. The club’s programming runs year-round with both an after school program and a summer camp. The Club offers its gym to rent for birthday parties and social celebrations free of charge to its members, staff, and board members.
