Campbell Housing Complex Groundbreaking Ceremony

On April 15, 2026, the Housing Authority of the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska proudly held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Campbell Housing Complex, and it was good to see so many people in attendance.

This project represents more than just new homes. It reflects our commitment to strengthening sovereignty and ensuring access to high-quality, affordable housing on our Reservation. Safe, stable housing plays a vital role in improving overall community well-being, strengthening social and cultural connections, and supporting economic prosperity.

We also recognize the leadership behind this milestone. The Director of the Housing Authority, Bradley Campbell, a dedicated Tribal member, has given 35 years of service to housing. That kind of long-term dedication makes a real difference.

This groundbreaking marks a significant step forward for the Housing Authority and for Indian Country as a whole. Addressing the housing shortage remains a priority, and this project shows our continued commitment to building stronger, healthier communities for current and future generations.
