IHS Holton Field Office

IHS Holton Field Office has a number of services of available to Native American homeowners such as on-site septic tank drainfield, connection to community sewer systems, drilled water wells and connection to community water supply systems. If you meet the eligibility requirements, IHS may be able to assist you with these projects. In 1854, the Kansas-Nebraska Act created our territories, drawing a line across the Iowa Reservation, which made us the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska.

The tribe is governed by two bodies, The General Council and The Executive Comittee. Organized under a constitution and bylaws approved in 1937.
