The Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska seeks one (1) qualified candidate to join the United Tribes of Kansas and Southeast Nebraska Board.
The United Tribe Board’s role is to establish identity and strategic direction, ensure necessary resources, and provide oversight. Additionally, the board must provide a quarterly report to the ITKN Executive Committee. The United Tribes Board meets once per month, and each board member receives $75.00 per formal board meeting. The board will also form committees and task forces to accomplish various tasks as needed. Board members are expected to contribute outside of board meetings as needed.
Board members may join meetings virtually; however, they must provide their own reliable internet and devices. Board appointments are one year in length.
To be eligible to sit on this board, you must be 18+ years of age and a member of the Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska.
