The Iowa Tribe of Kansas and Nebraska is seeking a motivated individual to fill the full-time position of Chief Executive Officer at our Boys & Girls Club located in White Cloud, Kansas.
Qualifications/Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required and a valid drivers license. Applicant is required to pass a background check and a drug screen prior to being hired.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: soliciting and securing funding including fundraising and grant writing, proven history with volunteer recruitment/management and supporting a board of directors, knowledge of the mission, objectives, policies, programs, and procedures of the Boys and Girls Club, demonstrated ability to implement effective operations. Applicant should possess leadership skills including negotiation, problem-solving, and decision making, strong communication skills both oral and written, and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Board of Directors, staff, community groups, and other related agencies. Other duties may be assigned. This position may require evenings, weekends, and holidays. Applicant must prioritize the safety of its members.
